Funk/Soul, Jazz Fusion, Jazz Funk Original U.S. album. Tropea, the moniker used in the mid 70s by jazz guitarist John Tropea to name his records, is a nice early stop on the train that lead to "smooth Jazz". Using a plethora of NYC studio musicians (Steve Gadd, Rick Morrotta, Will Lee, David Spinozzo and the like) Tropea created mildly funky, rock informed instrumentals that were, at the time, quite new if not entirely unique. This LP has a beautiful color cover and a space theme inside the gatefold.
