A 1960's Victorian style brushed goldtone brooch made by Freirich. The brooch is layered with a round base and adorned with a filigree bow on top.
Freirich was originally called Maison David and was located in both the US & France. They were bought out by Solomon Freirich in 1922. The name remained Maison David in France, but was changed to Freirich in the US. They initially started by making millinery & dress ornaments and buttons for designer's such as Chanel & Dior. Freirich jewelry is always of high quality, all handmade and have an antique, Victorian look to them. Freirich began marking jewelry in the 1960's and closed it's doors in 1990 and is now being sought after by collectors.
