A cardtable tablecloth made of cotton and embroidered with a different card symbol in each corner. This is from the late twenties or early thirties and the stylization of the design is indicative of this. The hem is drawn threadwork with the shaped corners and ties.
This is in great condition for its age. I found one tiny hole near the diamond embroidery but no stains or other damage. It is 32 inches square.
I have two other antique bridge cloths #s hc1282 and hc1651.
