There was no doubt Emily had a runaway imagination. Maybe it was because she lived on a farm and there were no children nearby to play with. There wasn't even a library in the little town of Pitchfork. All Emily had to keep her busy was her own imagination. Usually it resulted in funny adventures, like when she bleached the horse, or fed the hogs a treat that caused some very strange behavior.
But when Emily's city cousin told her about all the adventures she found in books, it gave Emily a great idea. What Pitchfork needed was a library - and making it happen was the perfect challenge for a girl with a runaway imagination!
This paperback is in very good condition with a light reader's crease and minor edge wear.
