1920's vintage botantical Silver repousse butterfly compact. most likely sterling though I cannot find a mark. It does pass the magnet test and it did clean up real nice like sterling.

Raised butterfly with flowers scene on cover and if you take the little silver bowl out, it reveals a small hidden compartment beneath it.
Would make a nice addition to any botanical collection or, as with all compact cases, can be used for various things such as coins, snuff, makeup or just about anything else you can think of.
