Taken in the early evening, the sun was a little too bright and harsh at the time I shot this for a well balanced traditional landscape photograph, I wasn’t too concerned as I knew a little bit of creativeness back on the computer, and the natural elements of this simplistic scene and the harsh early evening light could give me some good results, though I was surprised just how good the final image turned out.
Down on the sandunes at South Shields, Tyne and Wear, in the North East of England, the photograph was taken facing east towards the North Sea, half a mile to the left in this image lies the River Tyne, one of worlds most famous ship building sites in history. ... [full description] |
