A cold but dry early morning waiting for the sunrise gave great sunrise photograph opportunities, the sun had been up a little while and the weather was starting to change, a storm was brewing, just before the downpour this image was taken, the very angry looking clouds with their stunning purple hues darkened the sea and shore and reflected their purples onto the rock pools nicely, the sea under these conditions now appeared just as angry with high waves crashing, heavy rainfall is apparent out at sea on the horizon by the blankets of dark colour.
This spot is very close to home, less than 4 miles to be exact, one of my favorite’s, you don’t need to travel when you have such a constantly changing environment on your own doorstep, there’s never 2 days the same with the North East of England’s coastline.
