Taylor's Eye Witness cutlery began in 1838 and is still manufacturing fine cutlery and sporting blades. This long serated kitchen knife has a Sheffield stainless steel blade and a French ivory (celluloid) handle. The knife is 12.5 inches long with the blade being 8 of those inches. Condition is really fine for its age and the knife is totally usable. No cracks in the handle and no damage to the blade. It does have the normal usage scratches and the handle shows evidence of being held a lot. I have cleaned it more since the photos were taken. Excellent piece for your collection or to use in your vintage kitchen. This knife would have been made in the 1920s probably.
