After a lengthy modeling career as Chanel's top model for a decade and muse of Karl Lagerfield, Ines de la Fressange left the cat walk to start her own design company. She now makes everything from high end boutique clothing to doggie beds and fragrance.
This unused but not new leather belt is made of black cowhide leather and has 2 gold tone or plated oak leaves that hook to form a buckle. The belt as is is size 32 inches or 60 centimeters. It could be adjusted up to an inch at either end--I think. See the photo of the back of the buckle ends. Those gold bars hold the leather very tightly.
The belt is marked on the inside, Ines de la Fressange Made in France 32/80. It is 1.5 inches wide. This is probably a 90s piece but in perfect condition. Fressange also created a line of jewelry using this same oak leaf but much smaller scale.
Please note that the color of the gold is accurate in the first picture only. They were taken at night with a lot of flash.
