This is an old cat, probably from the 50s although it could be older. It is stuffed with straw or excelsior and the exterior is mohair. The markings are that of a long-haired Siamese or Himalayan. The tongue is felt and the nose a chenille ball. Whiskers are cotton string. The eyes are plastic discs on felt. They are quite realistic. The plastic collar can be removed and should be if giving this to a child to play with. The buckle has sharp teeth. The cat is about 18 inches tall. Larger than lifesize.
The condition is superior. If it weren't for the materials and stuffing, I would think this was new. It has no identifying marks but is a very high quality cat to have lasted this long in such prime condition.
