1977 "Super Disco" album produced by CERRONE. This was recorded at Trident Studios, London- Ferber Studios, Paris- and Musicland Studios, Munich. As one can tell by their name, Kongas emphasis was on percussion, and sounds very jungle-like at times. Long heavy disco tracks with nice touches of African percussion. The tracks on this include "Africanism", "Gimme Some Loving", "Tatoo Woman", and "Dr. Doo Dah". European club disco, but not without some nice funky moments -- largely due to the percussion!
The vinyl is in excellent condition, and looks like it has seldom been played. The cover has a small amount of surface wear and a cut corner on the top left, but there are no tears, no seam or spine splitting, and no writing. This is a U.S. pressing and also still has its original Polydor Records inner sleeve.
