ORIGINAL 1966 ROCK N ROLL GUITAR INSTRUCTIONAL LP & BOOK
A COMPLETE RECORDED COURSE FOR PLAYING ROCK N ROLL GUITAR by Palmer-Hughes
Alfred Music Company # AMC 110
This is a very nice music collectible produced by the Alfred Music Company in New York City. It is a box set containing an LP Record Album and a 64 page book. The book is in like new condition and looks like it has never been used. The stick-on labels for your guitar are still in tact and have never been peeled or removed from the front of this book! The instruction book goes into great detail, showing photos of actual fingers on a guitar neck for chord illustration, tuning techniques, music, lead, rhythm etc. This is detailed enough for a beginner yet has enough good information that it would also be beneficial to a professional. The record follows the book from beginning to end.
The record looks like it has rarely been played. There are no spindle marks on the label and the vinyl is clean and shiny. Under a lamp the surface shows a small amount of light rub marking- not much- probably mostly caused by sliding the record inside the sleeve and years of storage against the paper inner sleeve. There are 2 small very light surface scuffs, but nothing even close to being able to be felt on the grooves. The outer storage box has a bit of surface wear and the box top has a split in the upper right corner, and the bottom of the box has a small tear in the upper left corner. The booklet is in like new condition.
