This band was formerly known as The Picadilly Line, who released the album "The Huge World Of Emily Small" in 1967. They changed their name to EDWARDS HAND and released this self-titled album in 1969.
This is an original Stereo pressing. It was produced by George Martin while he took a break during the White Album sessions, and was the first full group George Martin produced after The Beatles. The Edwards in this band is ROD EDWARDS, who was also a key member of legendary UK folk band JADE. The other member is ROGER HAND. Edwards Hand is a beautiful, whimsical record of lush harmony pop rock with progressive/psych tinges. George Martin contributed some stunning string arrangements to Edwards Hand.
The cover has some front surface wear and spine wear & a 3 inch bottom center seam split. The back cover has only very minor wear on its white background. There is a small drill hole near the center of the cover, which goes through the record label, that I guess was a promotional or cut-out mark. The vinyl is clean and has had a few plays. It shows some light surface scuffing and a handful of small, light hairline scratches.
