An interesting scarf that illustrates life in the far North showing the daily life of Eskimos or Inuit people. Not really sure this is how they live in the 21st century but it is fun to look at. Scenes show a hunter, a seal by a hole in the ice, an Eskimo family, ice fishing and an igloo village. This is a bias cut silk scarf designed by Eleanor Paine for Skemo Canada and printed in Japan. It is 8.5 x 48 inches and in very good lightly used condition.
