Shea Butter is natures moisturizer!! THIS MAKES A SUPERP MAKEUP REMOVER...IT IS ALL NATURAL PLUS IT IS A GREAT FACIAL MOISTURIZER! KILL TWO BIRDS WITH ONE STONE & AS HECTIC AS OUR LIVES ARE TODAY, IT SEEMS WE NEVER HAVE ENOUGH TIME TO DO SOMETHING BENEFICIAL FOR OURSELVES....ESPECIALLY OUR SKIN!
Shea Butter can help with so many skin ailments, I cannot list them all! The fruits of the Karite tree are traditionally harvested by village women. The process of making Shea Oil starts with the separation of the kernels from the hulls by pounding them. They are then kept at a low simmer by adding small amounts of water and continuous stirring. The karite is pored into calabashes, stirred, and the impurities skimmed off. This process may be repeated several times until the karite is a yellowish silky oil.
Shea Nut Oil is a liquified version of Shea Butter...it travels well & is lighter than the solidified version. Shea Nut Oil makes a great facial moisturizer, great cuticle conditioner or use it as you would Shea Butter. Packaged in a two ounce bottle (not pictured), it can fit in a purse or pants pocket. It is liquid, so you can keep it in your purse & not worry about it, unlike Shea Butter. Great to take with you on trips, it makes a great sun protectant, since it contains ingredients that protect your skin from UV rays. It is also great for the kids for bites, scratches, scrapes or bruises.
Shea Butter drains toxins from sore muscles and help diminish marks. If you love Shea Butter, you must try Shea Nut Oil.....same qualities.....lighter texture!!
The components of most seed oils can be divided into two important categories. The first is called the saponifiabe fraction which contain most of the moisturizing properties. The second category is called the nonsaponifiable fraction, which contain most of the healing properties. What sets Shea Oil apart from other seed and nut oils and butters is its exceptionally large nonsaponifiable fraction; containing important nutrients, vitamins and other valuable phytonutrients required for healing. While having an excellent moisturizing fraction, in most other seed oils and butters the healing fraction is very small, often 1% or less. Shea Oil, depending on the source and processing methods, has a nonsaponifiable fraction of 5% up to as much as 17%. Because Shea Oil has such a high percentage of nonsaponifiables, in addition to its moisturizing qualities, regular use of this natural oil can effectively treat many skin problems. It is out of these unique healing properties that the Karite tree came to be known as the Tree of Life.
2 ounce NONSCENTED, THIS IS A BIGGER SIZE preferably for body use, as a sunblock, liquid body lotion to cover more body surface.
ingredients: shea nut oil, vitamin E
THESE RECIPES ARE ANCIENT AFRICAN RECIPES, I was taught from the "best" and I ensure you, that Shea Butter is a topic I know alot about...I was on the actual soil of where it is produced. I touched & smelled the leaves of the karite trees, which produce this "golden wonder butter."
Shea butter is used in corporations now, but they still only add about 10% of this butter to their recipes. I use at least 80%.
I do not use PETROLEUM, MINERAL OIL or PARABENS/SLS TOXINS in my recipes.
I was taught that you could prolong the life of the butter, just by the temperature & the way you mix in your ingredients. Many small businesses stir the minerals/antioxidants right out of shea butter, unknowingly, just by the way they WHIP IT TO DEATH. With me you are getting the PUREST form of Shea Butter, straight from GHANA, fortified with its ORIGINAL vitamins/minerals/antioxidants, PLUS, I add vitamin E to the nectar, just to help with skin regeneration, protection & healing.

Vitamin A & E - Balances and normalizes the skin. Helps keep it clear and healthy. Particularly beneficial for dry or sun-exposed skin. Vitamin A has soothing and hydrating properties. They provide healthy skin collagen which prevents premature wrinkles, premature facial lines and premature slackened skin.
Vitamin F - acts as a skin protector and revitalizer. It soothes rough, dry or chapped skin on contact and helps soften and revitalize dry or damaged hair. Vitamin F consists of linoleic, linolenic and arachidonic acids, the three essential fatty acids.
