David Winter cottages deserve every accolade they get. Charming, incredibly detailed. They make you want to eat one of Alice's mushrooms and shrink so small you can walk in and make yourself at home.
This is Shirehall and was first issued in 1985 and retired in 1995. It is a half timbered Tudor house with tile roof and rambling red roses climbing the walls and portico. David Winter cottages are hand made and hand painted in the studios and workshops of John Hine Ltd., Hampshire, Great Britain.
It is 3 high, 3.25 across and 2.25 deep. Protective felt on the bottom. Sold without box or COA. It has been on display in my non-smoking, child-free home.
