This is a flower of rare beauty. Blue color with red color nectar that looks like blood! And relatively easy to grow in a container.
Nesocodon is a very rare flower, native to Mauritius Islands, and it was the first flower known to produce red nectar (but flower is blue) which is amazingly beautiful in our garden. It is often a source of great talk.

Due to the rarity of this flower, the price is expensive but cultivation is somewhat easy.
Nesocodon seeds are tiny, and germinate is fine sterile soil, kept moist indoors and covered with plastic: germination occurs within 1-2 months and initial growth is slow but then faster after some months, it flowers after about 1 year and a half. It is easy to grow in containers, keep temperature around 15-25°C, moisture and part-shade.
