A Rare and Wonderful Antique Art Nouveau Silver Ring, Woman's Face Motif, circa 1890s. This lovely ring is a rare example of the Art Nouveau movement, circa 1890. The ring is composed of sterling silver with a lovely soft patina acquired over the years. The Art Nouveau era only lasted for a short period of time and examples are rare today. Artists took inspiration from nature and mythology to produce beautiful and dreamy designs. You can see the characteristic whiplast scrolls on the sides of the ring and a floral motif adorning her hair. Overall the ring measures about 1/2 inch long by about 3/4 inch wide from side to side. Ring Size: about 7 1/2 (could be resized by your jeweler or ask me about using mine before shipping). This ring was acquired through an estate collection and is in lovely vintage condition.
