Its 36" blade is remarkable as the largest khukuri blade in nepal or even in world.Its 11" Rat tail handle is made of very strong Rose-wood,so the overall length of the khukuri is 47".Since history this khukuri is popular for chopping the head of He-buffalo in one shot during the largest festival of Nepal "Dashain". This khukuri is taken as symbol of extreme power and victory. The blade is made of high graded carbon steel with balance water temper on the edge so it’s very strong. The scabbard is made of cotton cover in water-buffalo leather. Two small knife "kardha" and "chakmak" are free with this kukri."Chakmak" blunt one is to sharpening the blade and "Kardha" sharp one is for the small type of work like, skinning.
