These are bridal bangles of Punjabi Sikh community in India and are known as Shagun Ka Suhaag Chura.These are the special types of set of bangles, which are worn by a bride at the time of her marriage in a special ceremony.
Before marriage the bride's maternal uncle put Chura in the arms of bride. Usually these bangles are in red, white, ivory and maroon colors. Originally these bangles are made out of elephant's tusk. But the one shown in the picture i.e. one which you will receive are made of plastic in maroon & elephant's tusk color
