Art in Glass published in 1972 by The Toledo Museum of Art, 141 pages in softcover measuring approximately 10.75 inches long by 6.75 inches wide. Contents read as follows: Introduction; Ancient Glass; Islamic Glass; European Glass; American Glass; Modern Glass; Some Technical Terms; and Suggested Reading.
Although just nine of these pages contain full color photographs with the balance of the book in black and white, this vintage softcover covers a wide spectrum of fine art glass and is profusely illustrated with beautiful images throughout. The scholarly text is a fine library addition for the serious collector as well. Long out-of-print, this museum book is interiorly very clean and crisp, but it has been slashed it to a bargain price to atone for modest, minimal wear to the cover.
