An interesting and luxurious vintage scarf made of satin faced red silk and printed with groupings of guitars, mandolins and tamborines. The border is a frame of pearl gray pinted with musical notes and staffs.
This scarf may have been handmade from a panel of silk fabric. Two sides have hand-rolled hems and the other two have natural selvage edges. Perhaps the maker got tired of hemming. The finished edges are expertly done however. The scarf is 32 inches square. Excellent vintage condition and a very unusual print. No signature or tags.
