Great view of the brewery with the delivery trucks parked by the building, can view the team of horses pulling the wagon that is full of beer kegs. There is a fasmile signature by the artist, but not certain whom it is.
Measures 5-7/8 x 4-1/8. VERY GOOD CONDITION. Only issues, slight edge wear at top middle and the upper right corner has a bend. GREAT COLORING!!
The first official brewery was established by Prince-bishop Johann Phillip von Schonborn in 1643, and was called Wurzburger Hofbrau A.G
In 1863 the brewery was passed from the Bavarian Crown to a private brewer, Matthaus Max.
In 1867, Wurzburger Hofbrau was being served on draft at "Luchow's" in New York City.
Interrupted by Prohibition and the two World Wars, Wurzburger returned to the U.S.A. in 1950.
