This is an old hand modeled doll that I acquired through Kimport Dolls back in the early to mid seventies. She was part of a junque pack that I purchased and was not in the best condition at that time and time has taken its toll on her since, as well. She is quite different and her clothing is quite elegant looking with her fuchsia ruffled dress with black and silver trim. It is the typical Georgian style with a dropped waist and bustle back with trailing skirt. I think she is made of wire armature and modeled clay with wax finish. Her features are painted and her hair was done in a quite elaborate style at the time. She wears a black choker with a cameo attached. She appears to have real eyelashes and has an appealing smile. Features are painted. She has some problems so this would likely be mostly for the dress, which is very elegant. Her face and feet have become somewhat crushed.
This is probably a one of a kind doll and I don't remember any further details about her.
The dress itself should be worth the price!!
