Divided Back Vintage Postcard in Good condition with some damage on the edges. Post card was posted from Norfolk, Virginia in 1907 and also shows the destination postmark of Avon, Massachusetts. Card was made in Germany and published by the A.C. Bosselman Co., of New York.
This postcard shows one of the most dramatic events of the Spanish American War, and one which caught the public imagination, the deliberate sinking of the coal ship MERRIMAC.
