After years on the endangered species list, the bald eagle is rebounding nationwide. In the winter, I usually see one or two of these majestic birds in tall cottonwoods near water bodies in our neighborhood. I painted this after looking up at pine-covered foothills, imagining the eagle as a snow-topped mountain.
This is a high-quality reproduction, almost indistinguishable from the original, of one of my 2008 works. Watercolor stock paper measures 8-1/2" x 11" (to slip into a standard photo frame). The image size is 4-1/2" x 5-1/2". Signed by the artist.
