CONDITION: New - Factory Sealed - Never Opened / Never played
This is a terrific 3 CD collection from Reader's Digest that features 55 hits that span Peggy Lee's entire career. It's in mint shape, unopened, and still factory sealed.
All her big hits are here - 55 tracks in total - including "Fever", "Linger in My Arms a Little Longer Baby", "Mr. Wonderful" and "Is That All There Is?" These are all original recordings from 1945 to 1972. (See complete track listing below).
This collection offers plenty of variety. While most of the songs are from the Capitol years there are a handful of Decca label tracks as well as two rare radio show performances. You might also be interested in several re-mastered live tracks... including an exclusive concert recording of Fever... that are found on here.
The set includes an 8-page foldout featuring interesting, biographical notes on Peggy Lee's career compiled by New York Times feature contributor, James Gavin. (See scan above)
This set retailed for about 40$ when it was first offered by Reader's Digest Music. But now, this brand new, hard-to-find, out-of-print, factory-sealed collector's set of original recordings can be yours for a fraction of the original price.
Makes a great birthday or holiday gift...
