Condition: Covers show shelf wear and scuffing. Front cover has a partial "coffee-cup" stain on the lower half next to the spine as well as two small areas of heavier rubbing with some light paper loss. Front cover slightly curled. Top corner of the rear cover and a few of the last pages are gently creased.

Contents: This book chronicles the story of Gerard Vultee, founder of Vultee Aircraft which would later become Convair. Jerry, as he was known, was a very talented aeronautical engineer who has two of his airplane designs displayed in the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum. Vultee died in a plane crash in 1938.
