For sale is a homemade scrapbook. This book was put together to document the owner's French trip in 1951. It is illustrated only with postcards and small picture cards that were presumably sold in sets for tourists. The unknown author has also labeled many of the cards giving highlights of his trip. None of these cards appeared to have been through the postal system but were purchased for the purpose of mounting them in a book.
The book itself is 50 pages long. The covers are card stock, the pages bound together by the use of metal prongs. The covers show some wear and the corners are creased. The inside pages are slightly dog-eared but this does not affect the postcards and comments in any way at all.
