This Queen Elizabeth II Coronation commemorative plate has a multi-colored decoration on an ivory background with a sepia photo of Her Majesty. Plate has a shaped, embossed rim with gold decoration (slightly worn). Dated ('crowned') June 2nd, 1953 on the front. Backstamp: "(Crown), Alfred Meakin, England". This plate may have been used as a bread & butter plate, as there are two very minor knife marks (not on the Queen's face). Diameter: 6½ inches (16.5cm). Very good condition, except as noted. (#7525)
