CORO PEGASUS 1941 Mid Century Rhinestone Flower Egg Basket Brooch Pin Vintage Satin Glass Stones
Go Mid Century Marvelous! This large vintage Coro Pegasus basket brooch, was made from a design patented in 1941 by famous Coro designer, Gene Verrecchio. Very delicate and old world look, with a charming bow at the top, sparkling rhinestones, and glowing satin glass "eggs" which simulate moonstone. In wonderful condition for its age and sure to be admired whenever you wear it!
PATENT INFORMATION: The patent for this design, D125170, was filed in January 1941 by Gene Verrecchio and issued in February 1941.
MEASUREMENTS:
Size: 2.25 inches wide by 2.5 inches high (5.7 by 6.3cm)
Weight: 23.2 grams
Clasp Type: Locking pin clasp
Signature: "Coro" with Pegasus symbol
Condition: Very good vintage condition, as shown in the photos. Some of the rhinestones have yellowed a bit with age, and there is some aged glue residue, not noticeable at all when the brooch is worn.
