The Female Tanpura is mostly played in G, this one can be played in B flat, G or G#. If you need to play in some other scale, please let us know as soon as you buy.The construction of the female Tanpuras is, apart from the size, the same as that of the male ones. With a size of around 52 inches they are a little smaller than the male Tanpuras, this is why their tuning is around G, between the instrumental Tanpuris and the male Tanpuras.
