It is always the right time to make a good decision.
Own something real. Own land!
This land is a part of the orderly liquidation of our family land trust. Now, perhaps Barstow is too metropolitan for you. Maybe even Hinkley is too crowded for you. Maybe there are too many people in the little town of Boron for you. Then this 1.25 acre parcel, 165 feet by 330 feet, is just what you are looking for.
To get there you first have to find the Kramer Station, where Highway 58 crosses over the railroad well before you get to Boron. Get off Hwy 58 to the north side, and proceed about 4000 feet (about 0.8 miles) to an un-named dirt road, more of a trail than a road, so leave the Corvette in the driveway, you might need a little more clearance. Then turn right (east) on the dirt road for about 1200 feet (just over 0.2 mile). Look for the big red arrow in the sky (I wish, you would be well advised to bring a phone with GPS capability. Stop at the 0.2 mile distance, the land is on the left (the north side of the road), so consult your GPS, the coordinates below are roughly in the center of your new retreat. How big is 165 feet wide? About 66 steps. So the 330 feet is about 132 steps.
The Zip Code is 93516. On the old Thomas Map it's Page 348 H7, on the new Thomas Map it is Page F. Which is why you need GPS.
Here are the GPS coordinates of roughly the center of the property. Use your favorite mapping system and take a look for yourself. You can zoom in to count the bunnies, or zoom out to scope the neighborhood.
San Bernardino County APN: 0498-201-20-0000.
Feel free to share it with Cal-Trans if they ever need this for a highway (don't hold your breath) or to the solar people when they want to use it for solar panels (possible but not likely any time real soon)
Legal Description: The East Half of the Southeast Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section 35, T11N R7W 1.25 Ac
This remote property is valued at $1,600. I will carry the zero down financing for 20 months at zero interest ($80 per month).
One more thing. If you think that this property is STILL too close to civilization (or maybe too close to Kramer Station Road?), I have another one that is 825 feet further east, on the south side of the un-named dirt trail. Ask for the map that shows them both. Maybe your mother-in-law could have that one?
"Own land. It empowers you to build upon your past, provides progress for the present, and offers hope for the future."
Away from the pavement and bricks
This land is way out in the sticks.
To say this I'm proud -
There won't be a crowd.
This is your "Away From It" fix.
