• Import monument specifications directly from the email’s that are sent by the VA to subcontractors.
• 18 predefined layouts to implement the 6 different stone types that are available for sale or provided by the VA.
• US Government Monument Marker font that Illustrator can use. This font is designed for use only with MakeStone.
• Font includes characters to allow colon, period, slash, and letters with diacritical marks.
• The font contains kerning to put character like AV closer together.
• Plugin for Illustrator CS6 to open the template and populate the fields.
• Determine if Line should be L1, L3, L4 font size. This includes the automatic reduction in font size from (L1 to L3) and (L3 to L4) if line exceeds template width.

• The created monuments can be cut using Allen Datagraph’s Direct Cut interface to Illustrator to the Allen Datagraph 536 cutter.
• Accounting log of jobs processed is sent to the hard drive in csv format.
• The VA has exacting requirements to layout U1, W1, R2, H1, I1, L1, and J1 monuments. I1 and H1 specifications are specified in document number A-NCIS-1 dated Nov 18, 2013. The L1 and J1 specification are specified in document number A-F1 & A-L1 dated 06-05-03. R2 back monuments are sometimes produced at a different time from the front U1/W1 front monuments. The R2 specifications are in document A-U1-2 dated Jan 29, 2014. The U1/W1 monuments are specified in document A-U1-1 dated Jan 29, 2014.
