1950s Cast Iron Money Box.
Vintage Piggy Bank for Queen Elizabeth ll Coronation on June 02nd 1953.
Interesting and unusual vintage item. The box is crown shaped, with script around the base commemorating the coronation. A screw holds the item together, with coin slots either side. To remove the coins, unscrew and the bank separates into 3 pieces. It is easy to reassemble.
States "Made in England" on the base.
In great vintage condition. It is solid and usable, with some minor discoloration and tarnish...just in need of a good polish!
The money box measures 3.5" (9cm) tall and is 3" (7.5cm) square.
Royal Gift or Collectible Decor.
