Antique hand held with hook cylindrical European miner’s lamp in brass and white metal. It features the number 727 on the front and on the brass top. It is operated with a bulb but is not operational now.
After doing some research, it was determined to be from Belgium and manufactured by la Compagnie des Mines Auxiliaire. The company was established in Brussels in 1899. The lantern itself is thought to have been made around 1935.
