Aeonium tabuliforme is a species of plant in the Crassulaceae family. It is endemic to Tenerife, one of the Canary Islands. 'Dinner Plate' rosettes grow to 8-15" across. It is a compact, tender, succulent biennial or perennial with a very short stem bearing a compact, flat rosette of finely hairy, overlapping, fleshy, light green leaves and panicles of small, star-shaped, yellow flowers in spring.
Aeoniums cannot tolerate excessive heat and so it is very helpful to provide just a little shade. They can survive on poor soil and zero attention and so make excellent specimen for the drought tolerant garden. Excellent container plant.
