This is the rare enlarged 1912 edition with the decorated endpapers; 50 Arthur Rackham Peter Pan tipped-in colour plates, all with their captioned tissue guards; and the additional black and white illustrations especially created for this edition and each dated 1912

The large thick green binding with gilt decoration to the front board and spine is in Very Good condition with fading, particularly to the spine; wear to the top and bottom of the spine, corner knocks and edge wear.
There are 122 numbered pages, top edges gilt, with all 50 tipped-in colour plates in Fine condition and 20 drawings in the text, correct as per list in the book. It should be noted that there is a misprint in the listing with regards to Plate 48 “If the bad ones among the fairies happen to be out” is listed as Page 116, but in fact it is inserted opposite page 118. The other pages are exceptionally clean and in Very Good condition with only occasional foxing spots throughout, and usual browning to the front and rear endpapers.
This is an exceptional and rare Peter Pan book, an Arthur Rackham first edition in this state.
