Chrysobalanus icaco Red Tip or Red Tip Cocoplum is a popular tropical, evergreen, salt tolerant shrub that is widely cultivated and naturalized in many tropical locations worldwide.

Best features are attractive, rounded oval, leathery textured green leaves that emerge as bright red to orange bronze.

This plant is native to Florida, tropical South America and Africa and the Caribbean. It is salt tolerant and drought tolerant once well established.
