A small table mat or doily made of white cotton and lavishly worked with whitework embroidery and openwork. It gives the appearance of rows of flowers and squares connected by bridges of embroidery. Each flower is centered with an eyelet. It is 5.5 x 12 inches and in very good vintage/antique condition.
No stains or damage but the end bridges show some raveling that indicates this may have once been part of a larger piece. I can see this being incorporated into a craft project by some clever person who turns old linens into modern treasures.
