How do you grow peppers from dried seeds?

Don rubber or plastic gloves to protect your hands from the very hot essential oils in the peppers.
Break open each dried pepper and shake or scrape out the seeds into a bowl.
Pour lukewarm water over the seeds and let them soak two to three days to soften and hydrate them before planting.
Can you dry and plant pepper seeds?
Unless you want to plant pepper seeds right away, you need to dry the seeds for at least one week to enable them to dry well so that you can store them for the next planting. However, you don't have to dry your pepper seeds before planting them. They will germinate all the same
