A rare Digimon beanie toy made by Bandai of Japan in 2000. Despite the character never appearing in the TV series, it is from the Digimon Adventure Kuta Chara toyline (perhaps owing to the V-Tamer connection of Taichi and the V-dramon Zeromaru).
It is approx 15cm (6") tall, is complete with the original tag, and in very good overall condition. There are no discernible blemishes to the fabric, and only hairline marks on the plastic eye pieces (largely confined to the beanie's right eye).
As is often the case with these beanies and plush toys, the leather paint has not aged perfectly. The application around the neck has broken up, but the vast majority of it remains attached to the fur underneath, so should be restorable in the right hands. The leather paint V on the beanie's chest also has a hairline crack. The glue on several of the doubled-up felt claw pieces has also given way, so could do with re-touching.
Unlike most of the things I have for sale, this is a somewhat speculative listing- that is, something I would part with for the right price but would also be happy to keep, having been something like a totem for my own collection for some years. Nonetheless, I will entertain offers for it by email, too.
This item will be posted with insurance and tracking.
