Musterfield contains as much blue in its formula as you can add and still get yellow. Did you know that the second you put equal parts of red and blue in a yellow formula, you end up with green? Musterfield has exactly 5/12 blue and 7/12 red blended with the yellow, and Cowcorn, (right next door in the greens) has 50/50 of the two colors. This happens, at least with ProChem dyes, no matter how much yellow is in the formula, as long as the yellow is at least 80%. At the 70% and 60% levels, you get variations on a theme of khaki (such as Antique British and Old World), and at 50% yellow and equal parts of the other two, you get Levi Grey.
Lesson ended. Now enjoy this great "antique gold" yellow in your next project!
NOTE: In general, use the individual color image as your guide. I have devoted many, many hours to adjusting the images to match the actual wool color, but the usual disclaimers (about colors appearing different on different monitors) apply.
HOW TO ORDER
The standard minimum size available at Ram in the Thicket is a 3" X 18" increment, and each of those represents one "item". So from each listing, order the total number of increments of that color you would like. If you order more than one 'item' of any color, I will send it out as one large piece.
