> This is a beautifully engraved and unusual pointed crest-shaped slider piece with two 2.75 inch attachment chains
> Piece was originally part of a long watch chain or slider necklace
> Slider piece measures 1.5" tall x 1" wide x .375" thick, and is hollowed inside with two openings to allow a chain to pass through
> Slider is beautifully engraved on both sides, one side with delicate curves and swirls accented with sunburst details, and the other side with a flowering plant design that was once inlaid with blue enamel, only portions of which remain
> Piece has no apparent markings, and gold content is unknown, but it appears to be gold plated
> Inside cavity of the slider has residual attached cork or similar material that would have protected the original chain that passed through it
> The side chain pieces have wide circular links with decorative crown-shaped end pieces
> Item weighs 0.7 avoirdupois ounces on a postal scale
CONDITION: Original enamel on one side of the slider is almost all gone. Has minor fine scratches consistent age.
