What a find! A real work horse from the 1880's-90's. These small wagons were used to shuttle supplies around the circus grounds when they came to your location.
This wagon has been shuttling hay in a barn on a New England farm for the last 50 years. This wagon was traded for hay to feed the circus animals as it was passing the farm on its way to the circus grounds. Great colors with nice age. Wood wheels.....i can't believe they would last that long! All the metal appears to be hand wrought. The flat bed has the classic belly look that only comes from years of service.
Bed is 6' long x 30" wide. Head board comes up 21". Bed is 19" above ground. Pull bar is 50" long.
Wagon is in great condition and is showing nice age.
One wheel has a small chunk missing from edge of wheel, not sure if you can see it in photos. Nothing to be concerned about.
