Simplicity Printed Sewing Pattern #3046, dated 1949.

"MISSES' AND WOMEN'S ONE-PIECE DRESS IN DAYTIME AND EVENING LENGTHS FOR HALF SIZES: Gathers at the waistline and front shoulder yoke release fullness in the bodice which is styled with a sweetheart neckline. The yoke and sleeves are cut in one. The gored skirt falls in an easy flare. Style 1, the evening version, has short sleeves gathered at the lower edge of the shoulder seam. In Style 2 three-quarter sleeves are fitted with darts and gathers at lower edge."

Suggested Fabrics: Velvet, silk, wool or rayon crepe, satin, tissue faille, matelasse, lame, lace, jacquard, shantung.
