Once in the city, Muskaan meets a son of a millionaire, Salman Khan, who falls in love with her at first sight. A series of comical events follow, which are a pleasure to watch, especially with the wonderful expressions brought out by Kajol. Soon, elder brother Arbaaz finds out about the love affair which is yet in the budding stages, and forces Kajol to return to village. Of course, Salman pursues his lady-love and ends up being there too. Luck favours him, and with a little help from Dharmendra (Kajol and Arbaaz’s uncle), he manages to stay in their house. The rest of the film deals with Salman and Arbaaz coming to terms and finally the lovebirds getting together. There are two sub-plots as well; one deals with Salman's father whom Salman has left due to his stepmother, and the second is concerning a few villains who try to take away Dharamji's family land. In spite of all this, love manages to win at last and everyone rejoices. Kajol, as usual, does an excellent job, looking beautiful throughout the film. Sohail Khan’s directing has definitely improved, along with Arbaaz doing a great job too. Salman's entry is excellent with the introductory piece of "O O Jaane Jaana." This film means a lot to the star cast as this will be an upheaval to their carriers.
