* Wireless motion detectors have become popular among home security systems by providing an effective security measure. A wireless motion detector is a device that uses electronic sensors or mechanisms to detect motion. The device then alerts the user with the help of a connected component in a form of an alarm or camera system. A wireless motion detector can only pick up motion that is within its field of view. * The first thing that needs to be done is mapping out the placement of the motion detectors. Find the areas that would benefit from the detectors. The main power needs to be switched off to avoid risk of electrocution while installing the detectors. Attach the sensors to a power source in the areas that you mapped out previously. Make sure that they are positioned in a way to detect the widest range of motion possible. Remove the sensors and install the fixtures, then reattach the sensors to the fixtures. Restore the main power and wait for the base to be completely powered up. The wireless detectors need to be connected to the base through a wireless signal at this point.
