Mini DV：
ON: press and hold rec/stop for 2 sec, initialization starts, blue & red led on, blue led off, red led on, initialization completed.
OFF: press and hold rec/stop for 3 sec, machine saves files and power off, blue and red led flashes 3 times, then off.
Activate Video: turn device on, press and hold M until red led light flashes, flashes 6 times then off to save power, recording
(press M shortly to check mode, red led flashing 6 times, then off = video mode)
Activate Photo: turn device on, press M shortly to make a photo (or to enter photo standby mode when pressed during other mode)
(press M shortly to take a photo, red led flashes onece then off) (= photo mode)
Activate Audio: turn device on, press rec/stop shortly, init starts, blue led flashes 6 times, then off to save power, recording
(press M shortly to check mode, blue led flashing 6 times, then off = audio mode)
It is possible to stop recording video or audio by pressing rec/stop shortly. (If rec/stop pressed shortly again, photo is made.)
The ON/OFF button is for toggeling motion detection on or off.

Remote control:
lock = rec/stop unlock = M :
Press lock for 2 sec to turn device ON (see sequence above).
Press lock for 3 sec to turn device OFF (see sequence above).
Press and hold unlock to start video mode (see "activate video" above).
Press unlock shortly to start photo mode (see "activate photo" above).
Press lock shortly to start audio mode (see "activate audio" above).

When motion detection is switched on, only the lock button works to turn the device on or off.
Modes can be switched by performing above actions stated after "turn device on".
Low power: red led flashes quickly.
Charging: blue led flashes and extinguishes when battery is full.
Charge for 30 to 60 minutes after battery is full to achieve maximum capacity.
