Bye, Bye Dry is a healing blend I created to combat my bouts of eczema. I have battled eczema for years, albeit fairly mild but I had a really bad patch on my ankle for almost over a year until I discovered Horsetail Butter.
A friend of mine recommended it to me as she used it for her sons cradle cap. At this time another etailer was selling it and I was a loyal buyer until it was discontinued. So I have hoarded what I had for a long time. I finally found a supplier and decided I would make a healing butter aimed at helping with severely dry skin/dermatitis.
*Disclaimer: While I do not claim this is a cure for eczema I have found great relief from flair ups and it gives your skin a break from those steroid creams.
What is in Bye, Bye Dry?
Horsetail Butter: horsetail extract promotes collagen production, which is highly beneficial in maintaining the elasticity of skin. It is not only known to be an effective cure for premature aging, but also heals skin conditions like acne and eczema.
Grape-seed Oil: has natural anti-inflammatory properties which will help relieve the inflammation associated with eczema. It is also said the Grape-seed Oil has the ability to rebuild cells which is very beneficial in healing any skin breakage during an eczema flair.
Lavender Essential Oil: not only is Lavender calming to the senses but it also has antiseptic properties, which aid in the healing skin irritations such as eczema and psoriasis.
Bye, Bye Dry also makes a wonderfully moisturizing lip balm. While it soaks in quickly it keeps your lips feeling soft and supple for hours. I wear this at night before I go to sleep.
